If normal human tendency is to be considered, it is quite
obvious that you will take a strong look at anything attractive that falls
within the range of your sight. Hence, you shouldn’t be surprised if you see
people buying product in an attractive package that they haven’t used ever.
Most commonly people prefer to give it try to new brand that appears good, probably
because they believe that what appears is what within the pack. Obviously, the
print quality, the type of outer packaging and the actual product have a vital
role in the sale of the product, especially if it is new in the market.
Often people while purchasing if not prepared with what to
purchase mostly the time like to try out new products and especially with
attractive pack. Moreover, many customers even overrule their own mind set up
if the packaging of products is really that impressive. It is said that in many
cases consumer make up their mind of purchasing on the spot, more specifically
in last five seconds. This is the opportunity which is being pulled off by the
brand by beautifying their packaging product with attractive print, color,
texture, logo or iconic symbol.
Another truth which cannot be overlooked that if two brands
produces product with equal effectiveness, one not putting much interest in
packaging lag behind in sale compare to another that uses the packaging of the
products as marketing tool. There is nothing wrong if the one out of two equal
products belonging to different brands get priority on the basis of their
appearance. Beauty attracts everyone, so why not to use it make better sale?
